Barn fire

On August 10, about 10:10 pm, Waterloo Fire Rescue was dispatched to the area of Burton Avenue and Airline Hwy for a reported structure fire. Upon arrival firefighters found a large barn, brush and numerous items on fire with multiple exposures. Hundreds of feet of hose line were laid along with numerous handlines used to fight this fire. Firefighters were on scene for several hours. The cause is under investigation by the city Fire Marshal. Photo by Larry Klodt.
