Fire Service Day at the Capitol April 27

Happy New Year!

Fire Service Day at the Capitol will take place on April 27, 2026 and provides a valuable opportunity for firefighters from across the state to come together, engage with legislators, and advocate for issues impacting the fire service. This day allows firefighters to share firsthand experiences, build relationships with elected officials, and ensure the voice of Minnesota’s fire service is heard at the Capitol.  Registration for Fire Service Day at the Capitol is now open and available on our website. Members are encouraged participate!

The Conference Committee recently met, and planning is underway for the 2026 Conference, which will be held September 17-19 at Breezy Point Resort. The committee is working to develop a strong lineup of educational sessions, networking opportunities, and events that will benefit firefighters from departments of all sizes across the state.  More details, including registration information and conference highlights, will be shared as planning continues.
