Hudson fires

On March 12, around 2:15 p.m. Hudson Fire Rescue was dispatched to a field fire in the 8800 block of Kimball in rural Waterloo. A few minutes later they were paged for a barn fire in the same area. This was then upgraded to a house fire at 8739 Kimball. Mutual aid was requested from Gilbertville Fire. Upon arrival firefighters found the barn was fully engulfed and on the ground. The fire jumped the road and started a field fire. The adjacent house sustained heat damage. No injuries were reported. Photos by Larry Klodt.
