MSFDA Conference and Fire School in Mankato
The 147th Annual MSFDA Conference and Fire School is fast approaching! We invite you and your fellow firefighters to join us in Mankato on Sept. 20-21, 2024. The conference committee, in collaboration with Task Force 1, a national training company, has created an extensive program with fresh, new learning opportunities. Our vendor show and reception will provide a great chance to mingle, build relationships, and explore the latest products and offerings from our exhibitors. Don’t miss the MSFDA vendor booth where you can purchase new MSFDA apparel and meet your regional directors.
On Saturday afternoon, our General Meeting will feature updates from committee chairs and elections for both the President and Secretary/Treasurer executive board positions. If you are interested in running, please submit your letter of intent to deedee@msfda.org before Aug. 7th. Your vote is important, so please join us.
Following the General Meeting, we will hold our annual Memorial Service, a time to honor and remember those in the fire service who have passed away. If you know of a firefighter who has passed in the past year, please send their name, department, and a photo to be included in the service.
Saturday evening is dedicated to relaxation and fun, starting with the banquet dinner and followed by a “Pub Crawl.” We put a lot of time and effort into hosting this event each year, and we do it for YOU! This year, we are offering online registration for the convenience of credit card payments, although paper copies and checks are still welcome.
