   Sept. 17, 2023: Fallen Firefighter’s Memorial Service at the Nebraska Firefighter’s Museum and Memorial Gardens in Kearney.

   Sept. 23, 2023: 2nd Annual Quad Cities Firefighter Chili Cook Off, 1-4 p.m., Isle of Capri covered parking lot, Bettendorf. $10 entry fee to sample each chili and vote for the winner. All proceeds benefit the Firefighters Benevolent Fund.
