Walk A Mile

     Yankton firefighters participated in the annual River City Domestic Violence Walk A Mile in Their Shoes event held at Riverside Park. The event is a fundraiser and awareness for domestic violence where participants walked a distance in high heels for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and child abuse. The firefighters were recognized for having the largest group participating in the walk. Submitted by Larry Nickles, Yankton Fire Deputy Chief.
