MSFDA Annual Conference

Thank You for Joining Us at the MSFDA Conference!

On behalf of the Minnesota State Fire Department Association, thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Annual Conference and Fire School in Breezy Point!

One of the best parts of conference weekend is simply being together. It’s a chance to reconnect with longtime friends, meet new people, share stories, learn from one another, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes the fire service such a special community. Whether you were in a classroom, participating in hands-on training, visiting with vendors, or catching up with friends, we hope you left with some great memories and new ideas to take home.

We were also proud to recognize two very deserving recipients during our annual awards presentation. Congratulations to:

Dave Matchinsky (Cambridge) – Firefighter of the Year

Rosemount Fire Department – Fire Department of the Year

A conference like this doesn’t happen without a lot of people pitching in. Thank you to our attendees, instructors, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, board members, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make the weekend a success. We appreciate the time, energy, and support you continue to give to MSFDA.

Most of all, thank you for being part of the MSFDA. It’s the people and relationships that make this organization—and this conference—what it is.

And now we’re already looking ahead to a big one!

Save the date for the 150th Annual MSFDA Conference and Fire School, April 22–25, 2027, in Breezy Point!

We can’t wait to celebrate 150 years with you. Until then, thank you for all you do for your departments, your communities, and the Minnesota fire service!
