Some months it seems I have a number of articles for the paper, and this is one of those months. Lots of items that will be considered at the June membership meeting.
South Dakota in the spring time. Single digit temperatures with blizzards one week. The next week, record high temperatures with flooding and spring wildfires. Good grief.

One of the most gratifying things I get to do as a fire instructor is teach the Essentials of Firefighting Class hosted by the Fire School held in Sioux City.
The 28th annual Iowa Firefighters Memorial service will be held on June 11, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. with the Candlelight service the evening before on June 10th at 9 p.m.
This past month I had the privilege of Presenting my dad “Chief David Raska” with his retirement award from the Radcliffe Fire Department.
