Carbon monoxide responses are easy to treat like routine calls. Most of the time, we are dispatched for an alarm activation, a beeping detector, or a vague report of someone “not feeling well.” There is no smoke showing, no visible hazard, and no obvious emergency from the street.

     It seems we have made it through the hot, rainless, summer and now are into fall weather. As I write this month’s article, the temps are definitely cooler in the evenings and days.

     Greetings Minnesota firefighters and families! September is here, with it comes cooler weather, school, harvest time, fall sports and getting ready for our long winters.

     To many of us September 11th is very vivid and real. We remember where we were and what we were doing on that day.
